If you have a brand new business or one you are trying to revive there are a few things you need to bear in mind.
Whether you are running an ecommerce business or a direct sales marketing business, making your first 5K in 30 days will not happen overnight but it also doesn’t have to take you a year.
Making your first 5K a month is just as achieveable as making your first $500. If you market your business the right way this will happen for you fast but you must be willing to do what it takes.
The first thing you need to do is to stop looking at where you are and focus on where you are going. Where you are today does not determine where you finish. The most important thing is to take step towards the right direction. Do not define yourself based on your current circumstances.
Before you focus on what is working for everyone else, define what it is that you want. What is your why? When you are starting out, you might have to do things that you do not want to do. There is no short cut to success!
When your reason why is well defined and crystal clear, it will push you to do what it takes to be successful. Your past financial struggles should motivate you to do what you are supposed to do even when you don’t feel like doing it. Why? Because you never want to go back to that place.
Before making your first 5K month income you will also need to work on your self believe and self image. Those two can be huge success barriers if not checked right. You also have to stop focusing on results and instead focus on the activities that will create you the results you want. Listening to successful people on video or during live events is a sure way to help build your success believe system.
Last but most important mindset preparation is understanding the danger of relying on just one source of income. This is something that a lot of people especially in direct sales or network mareting don’t understand or refuse to embrace.
Keeping all your eggs in one basket is very dangerous in the business world. You need to embrace the idea of creating multiple stream of income. Yes, your primary business might make you more than the others but you need to create other smaller streams. Understand that not everyone will join your business or buy your products or service. It is just a simple reality that needs no explanation!
